Betty A. (Davis) Wunder

Betty A. (Davis) Wunder, age 86, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, July 17th at Pleasant View Lutheran Home.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Winn Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till time of service Saturday.
Betty was born January 13, 1931 in Spencerville, Ohio, a daughter of Garner and Gladys J. (Zimmerman) Davis. She married Maynard Wunder June 21, 1952 at Plainfield, Illinois. He preceded in death December 8, 1999. Betty is survived by her sisters, Doris Meyer, Jean Smith, Martha Spicer and Loretta Feldman; a brother, Lorance (Ruth) Davis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Lloyd, Wayne, Larry, Carlton and Clair Davis and Waldo Zimmerman; and a sister, Marilyn Thomas.
Betty was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She retired as a cook at Central School. Betty enjoyed cooking, craft work and crochet. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
