Barbara "Barb" (White) Wols

Barbara E. “Barb” Wols, age 75, of Norway, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Morris.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5th at St. Columba Church with Reverend Bruno Byomuhangi celebrating.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 4th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home.

Barb was born March 9, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to William Byron and Beatrice (Urbanski) White.  She was a loving wife to her husband Jack for fifty four years; caring mother to Daniel (Janet) Wols, Matthew (Amy) Wols, Heather (Ronald) Snedic and Jonathan (Heather) Wols.  Barb was the proud grandmother of Kayla, Lexi, Livi and Jenna Wols; Lauren and Zach Wols; Jake and Nate Snedic; Clare and Lily Wols.  She also leaves a brother, William B. White, Jr.  Barb was preceded in death by her parents.

Barb was an active participant at St. Columba Parish in Ottawa, Illinois and St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Pompano Beach, Florida.  She was quite an accomplished woodworker.  Barb was an extraordinary role model to her children and grandchildren.  She dearly loved to plan and provide family events at her home in Norway.
