Barbara Jean Osmund

Barbara Jean Osmund, 73, of Ottawa, formerly of Leland, Ill., died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at the Ottawa Pavilion. Cremation was accorded. There will be no service or visitation. Gladfelter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Osmund was born August 14, 1934, in La Salle, to John and Clara (McDowell) Goth. She married Duane Osmund on September 13, 1958, in Leland, Ill. He died November of 1982. She retired from CTS Knights in Sandwich, Ill. She is survived by a brother John (Carlyne) Goth, Jr., of Oglesby, Ill.; two nieces, Laura (David) Peterson and Melissa (Jason) Pate both of Ottawa; and a nephew, Michael (Andy) Goth of Oglesby. Memorials may be directed to the family.
