Barbara Katherine Kelly Schrader

Barbara Kelly Schrader, 56, of Iowa City, Iowa, formerly of Ottawa, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Lowrduraj Ignatius officiating. Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Ms. Schrader was born January 8, 1951, in Ottawa, to Michael J. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Cosgrove) Kelly. She graduated with the Class of 1970 from Ottawa Township High School. After graduation, she was employed at the Peltier Marble Factory. She moved to Iowa City and is currently employed at HyVee on Waterfront Drive in Iowa City. She is survived by a son, Shawn of Woodward, Iowa; four sisters, Mary (Dan) Jett of Compton, Ill., Jean Halm and Karen (Mike Nanouski) Curtis both of Ottawa, Sharon (Ron) Michael of San Antonio, Texas; and a brother, John J. Kelly of Ottawa. Her parents; and a brother, Michael J. Kelly Jr, preceded her in death. Memorials may be directed to the family.
