Austin Lloyd Vann Handegan, 17, of Angleton, Texas, formerly of Ottawa, died Monday, May 7, 2007, in Angleton. There will be no funeral services in Ottawa. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 15th, at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Private burial will be in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia, Ill. Austin was born October 18, 1989, in Aurora, Ill. He was a special child, who was a gift to our family. He was a miracle baby, who was born early and left too soon. He was loved by all he met. Austin touched so many lives and taught us being different was easy when you had family and friends around you. He had a close loving relationship with his older brother, Cody. His niece MaKenzie was his world. Austin is survived by many family members and special friends. "My son will forever be in our hearts and thoughts." He left a hole in our lives that cannot be filled. "We love and miss you, Bubba." He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Lloyd of Angelton, Texas; his father Curtis Handegan of Plano, Ill, sisters; LuWanna (Patrick) Grieves, Laine Handegan of Angleton and April Handegan of Ill.; brothers, Cody Handegan of Angleton and James Handegan of Ill; nieces, MaKenzie Grieves of Angleton and Elizabeth Pennington of Forrest, Ill.; nephew, Caythan Handegan of Alabama. Memorials may be directed to the family.
