Anne Terese (Vidmar) Scerini

OTTAWA – Anne Terese Scerini, 96, of Ottawa passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 at Ottawa Pavilion.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be members of her family.
Anne was born October 9, 1915 in Ottawa, a daughter of Fred and Mary (Lousin) Vidmar. She married Frank Scerini June 20, 1946 in Ottawa. He preceded her in death August 20, 2006. Surviving are two sons, Frank (Marjorie) Scerini, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV and Donald Scerini of Ottawa; and two grandchildren, Aaron Scerini of Ottawa and Adam (Bridget) Scerini of Bartlett IL. Her daughter, Ellen; five brothers, Pete, Mike, Matthew, Frank and John Vidmar; and three sisters, Vincentia Vidmar, Mary Jacobs, and Veronica Vidmar preceded her in death.
Anne was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She worked in and retired from the dietary department of Community Hospital of Ottawa. Anne loved to cook and bake for her family. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
