Anne Frances Dresen

Anne Dresen, 91, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Ottawa, died Monday, March 26th, at the Oakhurst Nursing Center in Ocala. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Columba Catholic Church with the Rev. David M. Kipfer as the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with a rosary at 3 p.m. Mrs. Dresen was born July 14, 1915, in La Salle to Anton and Mary (Zaletel) Kastigar. She married William Fredrick Dresen in January of 1938, in La Salle. He died December 18, 1975. She was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of Americas. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Charles) Olson of Park Forest, Ill.; a son, Dr. William (Robin) Dresen of Ocala, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Suzanne and Jeannine Bessette, Karl and Kathryn Olson, Kirsten Yehl and Will, Laura, Grace and Emily Dresen; three great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Parola of Oglesby; and a brother, Sylvester Kastigar of Seatonville, Ill. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Bessette; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Bessette. Pallbearers will be family members.
