OTTAWA - Anna A. (Anton) Cihak, 80, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Columba Catholic Church in Ottawa with the Reverend David M. Kipfer as celebrant. Entombment of cremains will be at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation will be held at Gladfelter Funeral Home from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday with prayer service at 4:00 p.m. and visitation also from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home. Anna was born April 21, 1930 in Chicago, a daughter of Peter and Catherine (Paublos) Anton. She married Donald C. Cihak on August 2, 1952 in Chicago. He preceded her in death July 28, 2007. She is survived by their children, Thomas (Marge Mangold) of Spring Grove, Frank (Tammy) of Kansas City, MO, Joseph (Sharon) of Pinnacle, NC, Donald (Helen) of Orlando, FL, Catherine of Ottawa, Peter (Deborah Hockman) of Geneva, Michael (Lynn) of South Elgin, Gregory (Monica Randall) of Chicago, and Annamarie Rodriguez of Fort Worth, TX; nine grandchildren, Theresa, Frank Jr., Joanna, Andrew, Christopher, Justin, Katherine, Veronica and Sandra; and two great grandchildren, Lisa and Orlando. She is also survived by a sister, Irene; a niece; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Amelia "Mitzie" Anton. Anna worked for the City of Chicago Board of Education and then the City of Chicago Department of Aviation Office of Finance while working weekends at the Embassy Ballroom of Chicago. Anna cherished her time spent with family and grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Susan G.
