Ann DeBernardi, 95, of Naplate, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at the La Salle County Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven P. Loftus of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Naplate officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Mrs. DeBernardi was born July 24, 1910, in Ottawa, to Michael and Katherine (Janosevic) Zuk. She married Dominic P. DeBernardi on January 29, 1927, in Ottawa. He died November 29, 1997. She retired form Libbey-Owens-Ford. She is survived by a son, Richard (Phyllis) of Ottawa; four grandchildren, Nancy, David and Terri DeBernardi and Debbie Nelson; two great granddaughters; a sister, Stephenie Heermann of Ottawa; and a brother, Joseph Zuk of Naplate. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Paul and John; and a sister, Mary Panko.
