Amy Louise Hupp died in her home Sunday, August 11, 2019.  She was rescued from Lymphoma by Jesus Christ.  God’s richest mercies and grace were on display since her birth on August 30, 1977.

Amy was the poster child for the first LaSalle County Easter Seal Telethon in 1981.  She graduated from Ottawa Township High School in 1996. For 16 years, she enjoyed volunteering in the gift shop at Community Hospital of Ottawa and was honored to work at Seattle Sutton Healthy Eating for 18 years.  For nearly 20 years, Amy faithfully folded the church bulletins at Faith Lutheran Church.  Most recently, Amy enjoyed her church family and membership at Freedom Lutheran Church.

Amy adored her family and treasured friends and filled their hearts with gracious gentle kindness. Six nieces and nephews knew her loving small hands and overflowing joy and happiness.

Amy is the daughter of George (Skip) and Lois Hupp of Ottawa.  Her siblings are Brian (Jessica) Hupp of Raymore, Kansas; Meredith (Brent) Leatherwood of Nashville, Tennessee.  Her nieces and nephews are: George, Scarlett and Peyton Hupp; Annalee, Preslee Grace and Rhett Leatherwood. Deceased Grandparents are George and Nada Hupp, Guy and Louise Dunahoo.

A “Worship Service of Thanksgiving” will be Saturday August 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home in Ottawa.  Visitation Noon to 1:00 p.m.
